South African supermodel Michelle is the latest to join the bandwagon of firang babes in Bollywood. The sexy lass will make her debut in The Shaukeens starring Akshay Kumar.
The Shaukeens is a remake of 1980s comedy of the same name. Anupam Kher, Piyush Mishra and Annu Kapoor play the lusty old men in the remake. The film is garnering attention for Akshay's special appearance as an alcoholic superstar. Now that an exotic supermodel joins the cast, the hype surrounding it is bound to increase.
Lisa Haydon play the main lead in this comedy directed by Tere Bin laden fame Abhishek Sharma.
A lot of auditions were held in Mumbai for a fresh face to feature with him in the main song but to no avail. Finally, the search was launched in Cape Town where Michelle was finally zeroed upon.
"The song required her not just to look good but also emote. Once the camera was on, it was a cakewalk for her. The freshness she has brought into the song is something else," says Sharma.
Michelle, who is an established name in South Africa si to excited to make a new beginning in India. "It was too exciting and I hope people like me in the song," she says
